Charming, small hotel with authentic french decor and atmosphere. Great location and helpful english speaking staff.

I booked a superior room and a standard room. The standard room was slightly bigger and had a balcony, so wasn't exactly sure why I paid a premium for the superior room.

Beautifully redecorated, fine rooms and excellent en suite. Extremely helpful staff.

Pity there is no lift, but this is part of the old-world charm.

No lift available. Steep staircase up to all floors. If you have large suitcases, suggest you do not take a room on 3rd floor as we did.

individual well designed and such a relief from corporate blandness. Great welcoming staff and fantastic local in the centre of Orleans. Car parking was no problem with secure underground parking nearby. Great roof garden too which is a great feature in a city hotel - highly recommended.

Not a criticism - just a fact - there is no lift and the stairs are steep, if you stay on 3rd or 4th floor, pack light and go easy on the local wine when you return at night.

We liked everything about this hotel. It was superb and real value for our money. To be recommended!

Good location with easy walk to everything

parking is restricted nearby ... free over night or metered, and fronting to a pedestrian only zone. however the hotel does have an arrangment for discounted parking at an underground parking area about 10 minutes walk away

The rooms were gorgeous and very clean. Despite the very central location, the rooms were quiet and relaxing. The staff were helpful and recommended some non-touristy restaurants that were unforgettable.

There are no lifts and the staircase is narrow and steep! We had a huge and heavy suitcase which was difficult but the staff were there to help.

A bit stressful trying to find the place by car! We have a high vehicle so I was worried about parking. We managed to park in the same street but that is probably only because we got there early evening and we probably wouldn't have got a space if we arrived earlier and lots of the car parks have height restrictions.

Great location in the middle of town. Very quaint and good value for money.

The property was a little 'tired' and you could see paint pealing off in a few places. The hotel staff was mostly young and not as knowledgeable - when we asked for dinner suggestions we werent informed that most restaurants would be closed due to the holiday that day. The parking directions were also a little vague.

Room was very cold. No elevator and noone helping to carry luggage. No minibar.

Beautiful hotel with original features. Close to tram and bus and shopping. It has been in the same family for many years and is managed by the family. The welcome was excellent with the young lady taking a real interest in us and making sure we had all the information we needed.

We are pensioners with walking difficulties and were disappointed to learn after we had booked the there was no lift. Booked.net should ensure that the client has this information before booking. However in our case we called the hotel who agreed to put us on the first floor and to help with bags. It did not affect us but there appeared to be no air conditioning
